The Different Dinos
This blog post is all about the biggest dinosaurs, to the smallest. The largest were as big buildings and the smallest were the size of pigeon.
Brachiosaurus - a sauropod from the late Jurassic
Argentinosaurus - lived in the late Cretaceous period, and weighed 100 tonnes
Titanosaurus - discovered in India
Mamenchisaurus - had an incredibly long neck
Amargasaurus - from the Cretaceous period.
Nigersaurus - named after the country Niger, in Africa, where it was found
Meat eaters!
Ceolophysis - a small carnivore from the late Triassic and early Jurassic
Ceratosaurus - the name meant horned lizard
Spinosaurus
Allosaurus - a late Jurassic dinosaur whose name meant different dinosaur
Dilong - whose name means Emperor dragon, and is an early Tyrannosaur
Tyrannosaurus Rex
Ornithomimus - a two legged dino, covered in feathers!
Gigantoraptor - which means giant seizer
Anzu - late Cretaceous predator
Heyuanoa - discovered in Heyuan in China
Troodon - a very clever dinosaur
Bambiraptor - a late Cretaceous raptor.
Deinoychus - it's name means terrible claw

Sinornithosaurus - Early Cretaceous feathered dinosaur from China, who was venomous
Mei long - its name means sleeping dragon
Sinosauropteryx - a feathered non-bird dinosaur
Ornithopoda - the bird hipped dinosaurs
Tenontosaurus - a close relative of Iguanadon, it was frequently with Deinonychus bones suggesting it was preyed on by the meat eater
